Erin C. Griggs has worked 28 years in Public Accounting, Private Accounting & Human Resources for some of the largest companies in the Pacific Northwest.  Her passion to empower business owners to succeed is what drives her to dedicate her knowledge of multiple different industries.  She began her career in the Agricultural Industry working for some of our area’s Fruit Packing Warehouses in Grower Accounting, Human Resources and Payroll Administration.  With this experience, she was able to immerse herself in broadening her knowledge by working in Public Accounting as a Manager, which is where she had remained for the last 20 years.  Erin’s enthusiasm for business is what prompted her to create her own Outsourced Accounting Services Firm to do what she does best, which is to assist business owners in financial literacy while improving their education of their financials, keeping apprised of the ever-changing state tax and human resource laws. From this, Griggs Accounting & Payroll Services was born.

Erin has represented many clients during State Taxing jurisdiction audits while minimizing the penalties and interest that are generally assessed during an audit.  Reducing penalties and interest was done by researching and providing case law related to subjects that may not be fully understood in tax treatment.
